Morrowind Less Generic Npcs
I finally decided to get Morrowind and I never really check the Morrowind Nexus and don't know the best mods and I hate getting them after I start the game as I'll have to start another new character but I want my first Morrowind experience to be a great one in terms of Graphics. I was hoping that most experienced Morrowind modders could help me out by telling me the best mods to improve graphics and Gameplay, I have an ATI Readeon HD 5450 and 4GB RAM.
I'm not a genius with computers but not an idiot either. The Dead Have Names: Unusually for the series, Morrowind gives nearly every NPC in the game a unique name. (What few exceptions exist are generic guards, Dreamers, and vampire cattle.) The games before and after instead give generic names like 'Bandit' to these NPCs, making them feel more like adventuring fodder than people.

I'm not a genius with computers but not an idiot either.I am in much the same boat. I've found that Tamriel Rebuilt seems to be a popular mod, but I've yet to locate the general graphics update I am looking for. Any assistance would be appreciated. I'd suggest at least 2. Both are changing graphical appearances. To me personally, I'd rather not change the looks of all in Morrowind. I like this game authentic, as I grew up with it as of such.
Morrowind Less Generic Npcs 7
It's got a certain charm. The 2 mods I advice would be:Better bodies, as found here:Better clothes, as found here:Both of these used to be of Psychodog studios, which has since then vanished, sadly. They're both installs, which need to be pointed to your the datafiles file in your morrowind directory.I've both installed them just now to validate that they work. To activate these you must activate them in the data files tab on the menu screen. (Just in case you don't already know)There's also a better heads mod, if you want. But do keep in mind that I know of a mission where the head of a character is actually described.I personally keep to the vanilla heads, but if you want it:Not validatedThere's also another mod which makes Balmora more entertaining to be in.It doesn't quite follow the lore but I find it entertaining all the same. This mod is found here:Hope this'll have helped you out a bit.
Nov 17, 2009 Point of no return (spoilers) If you finish the Landsmeet, you can still go back and do sidequests (except for most of those that involve redcliffe). After the Landsmeet, the next place you go to in the story. Dragon age origins point of no return code. Nov 10, 2009 Point of no return. When you get to the Landsmeet in Denerim, afterwards you will go back to Redcliff, once you reach Redcliff you are at the point of no return. After the conclusion of the landsmeet you will regain control of your party. If you continue the main story line from there you will be at the point of no return.
Morrowind Npc Mod
Enjoy Morrowind, it's a game worth enjoyment for many years. If you want better graphics and atmosphere look no further than the MGSO 3.0, conveniently available on the nexus I currently have Morrowind cranked to look better than Skyrim on Ultra which is why I haven't touched Skyrim in weeks.Beyond that here are my absolute must haves:I also highly recommend a better magicka regeneration mod or some serious tweaking of GCD so that mages are playable but that's kind of personal preference.
I really enjoy the Tamriel Rebuilt project, just make sure you register the BSA's in your.ini folder or you'll be staring at yellow diamonds all day. Balmora Expansion is also good, maybe a little excessive for the city but still adds some interest to Balmora. If you need any other ideas I'd recommend checking out if any of the links are broken (many are) try. I am also looking to replay Morrowind as I haven't touched it since Oblivion was released and am now feeling Deja Vu with the Dragonborn expansion for Skyrim out.@Zephyr Kronos That MGSO mod looks really nice, definitely one I'll have to try out. That's really the only thing that I'm interested in modding for any TES game: Graphics, Lighting and Textures. Otherwise I don't like to mess with the original feel of the game.If there's some sort of mod out there that gives Morrowind a more realistic physics system so you don't have arrows shooting out forever that would also be cool, I haven't seen anything like that yet though. I like MGSO for graphics but for replayability you need which gives you both new quests and unique dialogue for the people of Vvardenfell making talking to the towns folk feel more interesting and fresh, and which adds randomly generated npcs to both the wilderness towns and dungeons, both hostile and friendly to make every encounter new. You'll see travelling traders with interesting special merchandise, there will be companions that will aid you in your fight and now when you re-enter a familair bandits cave, you will have no idea how many new and interesting friends the bandits have for you to kill.
Hi, I've downloaded the LGNPC bundle pack from, and I'm a tiny bit confused. Do I just go through and extract each of the various sub-folders (e.g.
Lgnpcaldruhn1.20.zip, lgnpchlaoad1.40.zip etc) into my Data folder and then activate them? Are there any I should leave out?And what's 'nolore'? I've read the description but I'm exhausted and my brain is foggy so I'm not sure if it's saying it fixes a thing called nolore and therefore I want it, or whether it's a thing that adds a thing called nolore which it's telling me is bad. I'm assuming the first one, but honestly I'm a bit stumped. Also, there seem to be three separate folders with nolore in them, 1.00, 1.01 and 1.02. Do I need them all, the highest number, what?(Sorry for some probably quite silly questions, I did try googling a 'how to install this mod' guide, to no avail.). You should only install one version of the same LGNPC module.
For instance if you have version 1.01, 1.02, 1.03 and no lore versions of 'LGNPC Ald-ruhn', you should choose one of them. LGNPC Ald-ruhn and LGNPC Seyda Neen are NOT the same module, so you can (and should) install both. I forgot what 'no lore' does, sorry. But it may have something to do with greetings and your rank in the world. I would consider using Appropriate Greetings mod instead of that. You should extract all the necessary (not all of them, only the ones you'll use and like I said, only one version) into the Data Files folder, then activate them from the launcher. Certain esps have to be loaded after a specific one.
Manual load ordering is important. For more info, consult the readmes and lgnpc.org.This is as much as I can help you I'm afraid. After the GPU of my old computer (which had my Morrowind installation) burned I didn't try modding it again and forgot the details a little.
