We've been having the same issue for a few months now and have tried many things to get around the problem (increasing the cache, reinstalling the agent, reinstalling Office 365, changing BITS settings) yet no solution has been found. We asked oneof the Microsoft PFE's about this when he visited us and he claims it is due to the size of the update and yet Microsoft just keeps increasing the size with each update. The problem is that this is inconsistent. It works on some machines and somemachines not and there is no obvious difference between a machine where it works and one where it fails.JacquesB4. Update you have in screenshots is not required for our Computers, but I tried oldest non-superseded update published in this december to be more suitable with our build version and result is this (only errors in all logs).I'm Still continue testing, maybe next to try to install the latest build version.I also did;- Package re-build (but not refreshed yet)- Max time set to 90min- Added all the languages in these O365 updates during downloading/deploying.MCSE Mobility 2018.

I am running a x64 Windows 7 Home laptop, and I am trying to install Office 2016 Pro on it.The installer freezes around 85% every time I try to install it. I have tried literally everything I can think of with nothing changing it. Stopped printer spooler service, sfc scannow, AV scans, disabled AV, cleared%temp%, ran a registry scanner, restarted, windows updated, the list goes on. I thought maybe it just took awhile, NO, I left it running over night and it made no progress.I can't do the repair of office because the program is not fully installed.Please help if you know of anything that might fix it.

If you’re not able to uninstall Office 2016 by visiting Control Panel’s Programs and Features, then you can use Fix it tool released by Microsoft to remove it. If your Office 2016 uninstall failed, then to remove it and reinstall same Office version or another, you’ve to run this.

1. Aug 24, 2018  Office 2016 install stuck and errors out at 51%. I was taking new PCs home to install Office on to bypass our firewall. Weird thing was that I even opened up all ports to all destinations (risky) for the duration of the install in the office firewall but still got stuck at 51% after 30 minutes. Would be nice if Microsoft documented this.
2. Download Total Uninstall and install. If Microsoft Office is listed under the installed programs, simply select and click the Uninstall button. Otherwise, click on File at the menubar and select “Add a program to list“. Enter the program name which is Microsoft Office, and browse the folder where Microsoft Office is installed then click OK.
