LINKS:Greetings!!As some of you may know, SWBF2 got an update on Steam and GoG.The multiplayer is actually by GoG (Galaxy). As some of you may know, the best multiplayer this game ever had is shutting down/has shutdown on June 1st 2016 (depending on what date it currently is when you are reading this)there is an alternative. The SWBFGamers team have quickly started working on bringing it back themselves with the help of Kalle (GameShare founder) there is an exe file already and there are a few servers up on that multiplayer.

The mod only works with the PC version of Star Wars Battlefront 2, and you'll need the Frosty Mod Manager to install it. And in case you're wondering if it's just an odd coincidence, the mod. Star Wars: Battlefront 2- Server Manager and Remote Manager v1.1 GUI. This.zip contains both the Sever Manager and Remote Manager Version 1.1 GUI. Just replace the old files in Lucasarts Star Wars Battlefront II Server Manager. Star Wars Battlefront 2 now has mod support, bringing in a host of clever creations and tweaks from fans, including some meant to poke fun at EA's CFO.

This is the multiplayer my clan is/will be using the most also.this is far better than any other multiplayer such as GameRanger and Tunngle and Hamachi and others.feel free to spread the word about it.here is the link. /h1/b/iYou need to put media and fire together.if easier, click the second one and remove the -Full details on installation and a link via mediafire available via this steam guide (or here: ).or(to access the links here requires registration to the site. If you do not wish to do that please use the link above.)There's 3 different ways to get SWBFSpy however.1: download an exe file but keep your original (just rename your original to something like: BattlefrontIIOriginal.exe) make sure the new exe is BattlefrontII.exe (you add the new one to GameData. Check video tutorial below). Rename exe files or you may launch the SWBFSpy exe as it is (named as it was when you downloaded it) although that way steam will NOT detect it.

So try having two GameData folders. One named GameData the other named Game Data. Game Data should be for GR and GameData for SWBFSpy. You can, again, rename the exe files each time also.MORE DETAILED:(((1 of the 2 ways:1: you can constantly rename your exe files when using 1 of the multiplayers.

(I personally like doing this over the 2nd option.) I like naming my files: BattlefrontIIOriginal.exe and BattlefrontIIswbfspy.exe when I'm not using them. When I am using either of them I rename them to BattlefrontII.exereason why: if you launch GR, it will look for the file with that name, and if you launch swbfspy through steam, it will look for the file with that name as well.2: you can create two different GameData's. I did this before but I didn't like it.as much. only because it takes up more space. And if you have mods, you need to place them in both (inside their respective addon folder)now, in order to make this work, obviously they can't both be GameData.

So, what I did was, I made one called Game Data (with a place between both words) and changed the path on GR to that one, while using the normal GameData for steam (meaning, for swbfspy in this case, when you launch it through steam).))). How to play Star Wars Battlefront 2 after GameSpy shutdown with GAMEMASTER(replace your original exe file with this one or rename your original to something like: BattlefrontIIOriginal.exe or BattlefrontIIOriginal.

Make sure the GameMaster patch is named BattlefrontII then launch it through Steam or through your GameData folder. I did this before but I didn't like it.as much. only because it takes up more space. And if you have mods, you need to place them in both (inside their respective addon folder)now, in order to make this work, obviously they can't both be GameData. how to install the 1.3 Patch file:link:REMINDER:the 1.3 patch version on the link listed above DOES NOT have any MENU.BAT nor LITE.MENU.BAT nor any of that. how to fix some of the crashes:Go to your Library and right click BF2, go to Properties and go to set launch options and type in /lang 0and more crash fixes:for Windows 10:set resolution to MAX and make sure anti-aliasing is offother things you can try:run as admin;go to right click on the entire SWBF2 folder (located here: C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommon) and going to:Properties Security Edit Choose your User give it full permissions by clicking the Allow on everything there Apply.

In Security make sure you have admin rights there also, simply go to security and check. I have noticed that many people have updated their AMD drivers and now they're having problems with the in game graphics.there IS a solution to this.-try these:Update your drivers.if that doesn't work:-To Fix:Go to(REMOVE THE -)Click on Direct X 9.0Right Click on 14.12.zipDo a Standard DownloadExtract Files to Same location as BattlefrontII.exeThis will prevent you from having to do a driver 'rollback' simply by using older AMD Driver Dlls.Edit: Some people have reported the game crashes when applying this fix.

If this is happening to you use a different Driver Version under DirectX 9.0 for Step 3. In the end I worked out that the fix won't work at all if your graphics card drivers are too up to date.

How to change CD KEY:C:Program Files (x86)LucasArtsStar Wars Battlefront IIInstallorC:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonStar Wars Battlefront IIInstallwhy does your CD Key get banned?it happens when someone is banned from a server (usually dedicated) (someone could be using your CD Key without you knowing if for instance you got it off google. If bought i have heard people have some problems mostly because the CD Key thing 'died' in a way with GameSpy.)it could also be a simple random error.

obviously the best way to fix this is to warn an admin(if they are active and you know how to get ahold of them) to RESTART the server.what is a boot bug?a boot bug is when you join a server and keep getting kicked for no reason whatsoever constantly. That is a boot bug. Some people think they got banned, but if it is happening to multiple people then it is NOT a ban. It is a boot bug.you may try;join the server multiple times under DIFFERENT NAMES each time you rejoin.change cd keys.or you can simply wait or try another server.

So,we all know what Battlefront is and most of us have played the beta/pre-ordered the game etc.so clearly,I do not need to explain what game I'm talking about what refering to EA's Battlefront game. Now,what people don't know and make the mistake of confusing is,there was a Battlefront III game which was NEVER released. It got cancelled.here is a video:Now I know many of you love EA's Battlefront while others hate it,since we can't all share the same tastes, and some of you know about the existence of this cancelled game.

But to those who are less informed, please stop making the mistake of calling EA's Battlefront game 'Battlefront III'. Because it is entirely DIFFERENT than both SWBF1 and SWBF2.

If anything it is a lot more like COD or CS:GO or Battlefield.so please get better informed and call the new game by its' actual name;Battlefront.there is no '3',no nothing. Just BATTLEFRONT.for those of you who know what I'm talking about, I salute you.NERD RANT OVER. Alsohigh ping:Please wait while Steam finishes launching:you could try checking these links above. And have you tried: checking firewall and antivirus just to see if everything is fine. And have you tried doing a full pc restart? And have you tried using a vpn? And exiting steam from the task manager and restarting?

I dont know how much it could help but it's just a suggestion. You could also try using a different exe file such as this: it's like the original BattlefrontII exe file but slightly modded so that if some idiot is attacking a server it wont affect you.

Maybe it could also help. Again, suggestions. I cant quarantee it will work but you can try.

If all else fails. You could try using GameMaster which is a much better multiplayer.

There arent as many people there but the ones who are, are better skilled. Theres more clans also such as my own.
