My Copy And Paste Is Not Working Mac
After i saw this article i just went to update and started the update again because some missed from the last update and after i finished i restarted the PC and now thanks to Allah every things works fine. This is what helped me ( You are correct about that. I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 yesterday, downloaded updates, and then had this same problem. Since I copy and paste text a lot for work, I had to resolve this issue and noted your response here.
Images won't copy/paste into my notebooks. I've tried dragging and clicking the desired image from the location into my notebook; right-clicking and selecting copy, then going into the notebook, right clicking, and pasting it where I want it; highlighting the image and clicking ctrl+c, then going into notebook and clicking ctrl+v. Copy and Paste stopped working between several applications, but not all. I started to notice it when copying from Chrome didn't copy anything to the clipboard. Then i tried from another application (Slack) and that worked fine, however i could not paste the content into Outlook.

As it turns out, there was one more update in the que after I downloaded the initial updates. One for my mouse touchpad.
As it turns out, MS was right on top of things, because that was the driver I needed to be able to copy and paste as usual. I downloaded it, restarted my PC, and everything is working great now.
Thanks for the heads-up!:) ). If you are unable to paste, then most likely it means the clipboard is still empty, which also means it didn't copy correctly.I have used some applications in the past where the 'copy' command was broken in a particular version of an app. It wasn't system wide. Here's a test for you. Open 'Notepad', type something, and try to Copy it. Space down a few lines and then try to paste it. If it pastes there, then the fault isn't with Windows 10, but whatever program you were trying to copy from. Also, there are several 3rd party 'Clipboard management' programs that start with Windows, and one of them may have been installed on your system prior to the upgrade. Some of these programs are not compatible with Windows 10 and will cause conflicts.
I had one such issue with a mouse helper program I was using and a clipboard manager as well. Some of the clipboard enhancement programs are installed with a new PC as well, but not very common.May not be the case for you, but it's a possibility, so I thought I'd throw it out there and see if it sticks to the wall. (If you don't get that reference, you can throw spaghetti noodles and if they stick to the wall, they are done. Please don't try that at home, it's awful messy. Fun way to teach children to cook spaghetti, though.). This could be a driver issue? Or some program specific problems.
Make sure that you've got all the latest drivers through Windows Update and the latest version of the programs you are using. You are correct about that. I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 yesterday, downloaded updates, and then had this same problem.

For photos I think you clicked on the photo app and tried to paste but can't. You are assuming that photo app opens the 'picture' file but it doesn't.

To paste a photo copy like your doing then open this pc and find the 'pictures' file open that and paste will work. I made the same mistake myself Paste will work here I tested it even with the newest update applied. I think others are making the same error, make sureyou are really actually in the older programs that already allowed pasting and they will work.

I have the same problem: copy and paste just stops working. I haven't found a solution or identified an exact cause, but I believe it's related to remote desktop connection (terminal services) use. I make extensive use of remote desktop connections in my job and rely heavily on the ability to copy and paste from one remote session to another, or to and from my physical workstation. This is normally possible because remote desktop allows you to share local resources, such as your clipboard, with your remote session. The trouble is, for the last few weeks, this stops working a few minutes after establishing the remote session and making use of the clipboard. It's as if the clipboard becomes corrupt.
The only way I can get it to work again is by killing all my remote desktop sessions. When I do this the local clipboard functions start working again.
If I then re-establish the remote sessions, the clipboard will work for a while but will eventually fail. This is very frustrating. I have tried the 'sfc /scannow' and clipboard clearing measures and have even done a system restore to a three-week old checkpoint, but to no avail. I'm at the point where I'm considering wiping my workstation and re-installing Windows from scratch.
Thanks for the suggestion, Bree. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to help in this case. Maybe 'corruption' is the wrong word for what's happening to the clipboard. Maybe 'captured' - eg. By the remote session - is a more accurate way of describing what's going on. Further experimenting appears to have revealed that I'm still able to copy and paste within each remote session, but not between sessions or between a session and my physical workstation. Annoyingly, however, once it stops working I can't copy (or paste) anything at all on my physical workstation - eg.
Even within Notepad or Word, etc.
