Killing Floor 2 How To Drop Weapon
Killing Floor 2 Early Access is going up on Steam shortly, so I’m taking a moment to lay out some tips for incoming players, stuff that will help you stay alive, earn as much dosh as possible, and fight further on higher difficulties. Aspects of Killing Floor 2, from weapon balance to map layouts, changed during the beta.
Killing Floor 2 How To Drop Weapons
Every four days you will get a drop in KF2. If the drop is a skin or a weapon skin you can dismantle it into 'materials'. The rarity of material will depend on the rarity of the skin. Once you get 10 materials of the same type (type being either skin or weapon skin) and rarity you will be able to craft a random item of higher rarity. And now for the good part, to get a random Master Crafted item from Uncommon items, you will need 44 years of gameplay!
But wait there is more, to get the same item from Common items, you will need 440 years of gameplay! The new crafting system is great, don't you think? Originally posted by:Every four days you will get a drop in KF2. If the drop is a skin or a weapon skin you can dismantle it into 'materials'.

You said we would be able to get the 'exact' skin we wanted 'eventually' but there is no way this can happen with RNG, its all based on so called luck so the exact skin may never show. You mislead us.They were never going to allow you to pick and choose the skin since it would have undermined Zed-conomy. The cheapest rare weapon skin is only $0.74 while the most expensive mastercrafted weapon skin is over $200. If they allowed people to choose the skin the price of mastercrafted and expensive rare items would crush through the floor overnight as enterprising individuals would buy 10 rares for less than a dollar and flood the market with specific manufactured mastercrafted skins. You wouldn't see any mastercrafted weapon skin cost more than $10 and any rare cost more than $5 and we can't have that, can we? They should have said 'you will be able to get the exact skin you want if you get lucky and win it'.So dissapointed in TWI.The purpose of the Crafting System is not to give gamers the option to get the skins they want without paying for them. Think about it, even if all you wanted was an uncommon weapon skin and all you were getting in drops were crates and common skins (weapon and accessory), it would take you 160 days to achieve that if you could choose a specific skin and if you logged in religiously every 4 days.
Is that a reasonable amount of time? I don't think so.The purpose of the crafting system is to make impulsive individuals buy more skins.
Killing Floor 2 Can You Drop Weapons
Some guy might be 4 uncommon skins short. Is he going to wait 2 months that it will probably take to farm the remaining skins or give in and just buy them off the market? And what about those people that will think: 'Damn, I can get 10 rares for $10 total, If I am lucky, I can convert them into a master that is $200'. They forget of course that they are actually more likely to get a master that is worth less than $5.
