I've always had a gripe about Steam: I can never manage to mod. I've tried to mod Oblivion and F:NV on it but I just can't find a tutorial for it. I went to the Skyrim midnight release but they didn't have any retail pc copies left due to pre-orders(I waited in a lineup for 3 hours for nothing ) so I just decided to buy the Steam version anyway even though I wasnt sure I could mod it. Now that mods are flooding into Skyrim nexus, I'm wondering if there really is a way to mod a digital copy of Skyrim.

I hear you need to find some folder for skyrim on your computer but I'm not sure where to find it.Any help would be greatly appreciated because if I could mod Skyrim I would be able to mod my other Bethesda games on steam. Sorry if this belongs to the tech form, if so, please move it mods.EDIT: I found my steam folder, but the only things in it are the icons for my steam games.
